Before we address the launch of the Pledge Manager, we have a special surprise for you. Throughout the campaign, backers heavily requested a Plastic Token Set to replace the regular cardboard tokens. We were wary of doing that due to the variety of different symbols on the back of the tokens. But after much back and forth with the factory we have decided to go ahead and offer backers an Optional Buy to fully bling out their game!

For $25, the Plastic Token Set is a Kickstarter Exclusive pack for Dune: War for Arrakis that brings you sturdy plastic versions of the necessary tokens from the core box. That’s a total of 77 plastic tokens, engraved and in full color!
The Plastic Token Set contains:
- 3 Prescience Markers
- 1 Supremacy Marker
- 3 Imperium Markers
- 1 Spice Reserve Marker
- 8 Atreides Garrison Deployment Tokens
- 8 Atreides Deployment Tokens
- 12 Harkonnen Garrison Deployment Tokens
- 16 Wormsign Tokens
- 6 Ecological Testing Station Tokens
- 8 Sietch Tokens
- 6 Cone of Silence Tokens
- 5 Bene Gesserit Tokens
The Sietch and Ecological Testing Station plastic tokens will be made to fit under the 3D versions of them all backers will get, so their hidden ranks and rewards can remain unknown. You might also have noticed the inclusion of 5 Bene Gesserit tokens on that list, which is not something we’ve listed for the core box before. This is just one of the effects of the further developments the design team is making based on backer feedback and playtesting. We will explore those evolutions of the game later, once development is finalized.

Please note the Plastic Token Set does not contain plastic versions of the Family Atomics tiles, as those are large pieces that replicate parts of the board and are meant to blend as seamlessly as possible with the board, so plastic versions of them would only be a disservice (plus they are handled very little). It also doesn’t contain plastic versions of the Pyon Village, Carthag, and Arrakeen tokens, since backers will be using their nifty 3D versions and those settlements have no need to keep a token under them.
If you want to bling out your cardboard tokens, make sure to add the Kickstarter Exclusive Plastic Token Set to your pledge in the Pledge Manager that’s just opened!

We’re pleased to announce that the Pledge Manager for Dune: War for Arrakis is now open via the Backerkit platform! If you haven’t yet, very soon you’ll be receiving a link to your pledge manager: the Backerkit survey!

The invitation process can take some time, but our goal is to have all surveys sent out by tomorrow, so please don’t worry if you haven’t received your email yet. Also, please note that you don’t need to create a Backerkit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, just click the survey link to respond.
Completion of the survey is the single most important part of ensuring that you receive your pledge.

On the survey system, you will be able to select individual Optional Buys you want to include in your pledge and even change pledge levels, if you’d like. If you want additional Pledges (Stretch Goals included) or additional copies of the Optional Buys, you will be able to purchase those as well. You will also define and confirm your shipping address and pay for your shipping cost once everything is selected.
MAKE SURE TO PAY AND SUBMIT YOUR SURVEY BY THE DEADLINE. Please be advised that this is the final deadline to guarantee your pledge and that we will produce based on the numbers of confirmed orders in Backerkit. If you fail to confirm your survey by the deadline, we will be completely unable to offer you a pledge later.
For backers familiar with the BackerKit system, please be advised that your payment will be processed immediately upon placing the order. You can still edit your address until the deadline, but your pledge level, optional buys, and additional items will be locked the moment the order is finalized. So be sure to fill out your survey carefully, including all the products you want, within the December 18 deadline.
