Fjordar - par Go To Pieces Games - livraison sept. 2027

Bref, ici commence notre long travail d’attente .

D’ici là, j’aurai j’espère fait quelques parties de Era of Tribes et Inis (et tant d’autres).

Era of tribes est cool! Évites juste de choisir des nations trop distantes les unes des autres. Sinon ça risque de manquer d’interactions.

(note à moi-même de ressortir mon exemplaire )

Lu ce commentaire sur la page KS :

"A small mini-update from us at Go To Pieces Games. I know you are all waiting for the first regular update from us. As I mentioned in a comment below here I wanted to write an update when we had our late pledge page up and running. The page is now finished set up, and I was hoping to be able to launch it today, but there are a couple of details we need to figure out with Gamefound before we can click the launch button. So we decided now we'd wait until next week with the update when the page is launched, and instead write this small "update" here in the comments so that you know we haven't forgotten you all  There are also one or two other things I want to show you in the upcoming update that we need to prepare the files for.

In the meantime I hope you all have a great weekend! :)"

La voici la fameuse 1ère news :

Here is the first update from the Fjordar-team after the end of the Kickstarter campaign. We wanted to write our first update after we had launched our late pledge page on Gamefound, and we hoped to able to launch it this week, but we see now that there still are a few things in the setup of the page that we need to figure out before launching. Also Gamefound needs up to three working days to approve it, so we realized that it's unlikely that we will be able to launch it this week. And since our first update is long overdue we decided to post it now, and rather write about late pledges in our next update.

So what have we been up to since the end of the campaign? Well, as mentioned, working on the Gamefound page has taken a lot of our time. Gamefound has some really nice visual features in their system that we wanted to use, for instance support for webm-video with high resolution instead of the low resolution gif-animations we use here on the Kickstarter page. Also, not all information that we had on the Kickstarter campaign is relevant for late pledges, so basically we've more or less built a new page, but using most of the existing graphics from the Kickstarter campaign.

On the game itself, we've been doing some further balancing with testing and adjustments to the rules. Some of you have played a lot of Fjordar on Tabletop Simulator lately, and on your own homemade prototypes, and have given us some valuable input on some aspects of the game. We have tested some of your suggestions and at least one of them will most likely be implemented in the finished game.

We're also doing some adjustments to the leader abilities, the alliance tiles and doing some changes to which historical characters that will be in the finished game. This process will continue along with creating the art for the leader cards.

We've also designed three of the four new map setups for first time players that will be in the Extra Map Setup booklet. We're using these maps, as well as maps built by the players themselves at the start of the game, when doing the testing and adjustments mentioned above.

That's it from us for now. Check out the new map setups below and have a great time until next time!

Best regards,

Frode and the rest of the Go To Pieces team.
