Brent va poursuivre la tradition artistique de haute qualité et de narration épique que James Ohlen, Jesse Sky et Drew Karpyshyn ont démontrée dans Odyssey of the Dragonlords avec la sortie d’un livre de campagne autonome, Raiders of the Serpent Sea.
Raiders of the Serpent Sea is an epic adventure book for the 5th Edition of the world’s greatest roleplaying game.
In the nearly forgotten long ago, the survivors of a vanquished civilization fled the cruel giants and demons devastating their home world. In desperation, the heroes of that time unleashed primal magics to create a safe haven for those they protected. They ushered the last of the mortals through a portal into this new world.
Covered in dark forests, ruled by sinister monstrosities, and with a storm-tossed sea connecting the many disjointed islands, this new world, Grimnir, is full of dangers. To survive, the people, now known as raiders, learned to sail that serpent filled sea, learned to survive in this impossible world. They sail with pride… and the strongest take what they need from both the land and any foolish enough to stand in their way.
Yet things are changing. In the recent long winters, and in the eerie colors splashing against the winter night’s sky, the seers have seen troubling signs. Have ancient evils from the long ago finally found Grimnir?

Modiphius Entertainment a signé un accord de coédition mondiale pour gérer le marketing, la logistique et la production de Raiders of the Serpent Sea. L’équipe d’Arcanum Worlds se prépare à lancer un Kickstarter pour un guide d’aventure et de campagne à couverture rigide et un guide du joueur à couverture souple.
Une version preview du Guide du joueur de Raiders of the Serpent Sea sera disponible en téléchargement dans quelques semaines. Dès qu’elle sera disponible, vous pourrez en apprendre davantage sur ce monde sauvage, ses habitants et les nouvelles règles pour les personnages jouables en cours de développement.
A noter, qu’Odyssey of the Dragonlords va faire l’objet d’une précommande participative pour la VF chez Arkhane Asylum. Ces derniers étant en partenariat avec Modiphius, il est fort possible qu’on retrouve Raiders of the Serpent Sea en VF d’ici quelques temps.
