Nouvelle update sur les livraisons de la v2 et la prod de la XL v2…
Delivery for the Painter v2 wet palettes is well underway, we have shipped 35% of these pledges so far, we will receive two final assembled batches next week. So we expect to complete shipping Painter v2 pledges during the first week of June.
Production of the Studio xl v2 has started and is progressing well. We intend to send address confirmation emails to backers in early June, and start shipping the Studio xl v2 shortly thereafter.
In terms of shipment scheduling, we do try to prioritize shipments based on your backer number. The way we do this is to allocate production batches to a set of backers in accordance with their backer number. Production batches are usually a few thousand units. Once the production batches are allocated, the fulfillment center will optimize the shipment based on a combination of products available x country x weight x carrier we are working with. So within a “batch” or “wave”, anything could happen in terms of priority, but this is the best way to ship everyone as fast as possible, whilst still giving priority to the earliest backers. So please don’t worry if you see someone with a higher backer number than you who has received their pledge a few days before you.

Ah, donc y’a une notif quand même quand c’est expédié. Ça c’est une bonne nouvelle, au moins ça permettra de savoir quand ça arrive (et de réduire les risques liés à l’abandon sauvage de colis dans le hall de l’immeuble par des livreurs indélicats, comme on en a beaucoup en ce moment).

Update #23 - Shipping update #2
A quick update on the shipping process!
Painter v2:
We are pleased to announce that we are nearing completion of shipment for the Painter v2 pledges deliveries! By tomorrow we will have shipped 95% and will reach the 100% mark of backers who have completed their pledge manager, within the next couple of weeks.
Studio XL v2:
The first batch of Studio XL v2 will be ready next week, and we will start shipping as soon as possible after that! This week you will receive an address confirmation email from Crowd Pilot. So please watch your email, spam, etc… and please check your address and confirm. If you have moved to another country, you will need to contact CrowdPilot directly as you are not able to change this information yourself.
In terms of shipment scheduling, for the Studio v2, we are more constrained by postage, due to the additional weight. So we will certainly have to opt for a country batch processing. We will start with the farthest away places and then move closer to our epicenter in Germany. So please don’t worry if you see someone with a higher backer number than you who has their pledge shipped before you, this will be normal going forwards from next week.
