ROVE is an immersive « big box » high fantasy board game for 1-4 players. Set in a wild and vibrant universe illustrated by Alexandr Elichev, players will adventure through the campaign as they unlock new skills, equipment, and classes as they fight their way for survival throughout the magically-empowered wilderness in strategic turn-based gameplay inspired by classic strategy-RPG video games from the 90s.
The game is played using a set of books that make setting up and tearing down the necessary game pieces quick and contained to a smaller space needed on a table. Each player has a hand of skill cards that will change during gameplay, requiring everyone to plan our their turns carefully to execute the strongest combinations. Adversaries execute their turns using a behavior table that will add extra wrinkles to the strategic process.
Each encounter provides a unique challenge that tests your ability to cooperate with your fellow Rovers to defeat wild creatures or malignant foes, rescue tribal villages from untimely destruction, and establish safe havens in the untamed frontiers.
The campaign has numerous narrative choices that will affect where your adventure takes you and the state of the world. The alliances you form and tribes you visit will have a significant impact on how a campaign will unfold.
Check out one of the playable cards for the True Scale class! This is both sides of one card, which players will flip over throughout the scenario to gain access to different abilities.
The Keb Raksa are a symbiotic partnership made up of the Keb, a collective of sapient insectoids; and the Raksa, powerful reptilians with six limbs and a muscular tail. Together, they form an unbreakable alliance, with the Keb’s hard chitin exoskeletons shielding them, while the Raksa uses its mighty limbs to wield various battle implements at once. Away from battle their combined skills in engineering and commerce make their tribes a force to be reckoned with.
The Tifer are a people with a mastery of bodily, or Kuthonic, magic. Due to their control of this element they are able to channel a bestial form, or Haya, with them eventually becoming indistinguishable from their tribal animal apart from the third eye which permanently graces their features. Each tribe of Tifer is host to a different animal Haya which becomes deified in a fashion–this subsequently leads them to form pseudo rivalries with tribes that host different Haya.
En voyant les cartes de loin le concept ressemble très fortement à GH.
Jamais compris la hype sur l’illustrateur. GH et la suite sont suffisamment moches comme ça !

Addax Games va travailler avec Foreteller pour l’app…
We are excited to announce our partnership with Forteller ! Forteller is an excellent audio narration app for games like Gloomhaven, Bardsung, and soon to be Rove!
Here is a playable card for the Flash class! Keep in mind, this is both sides of one card, which players will flip over after using that card’s ability. This will grant access to new actions throughout combat!
Small, cute, and easily underestimated. Exactly how a Zusag likes it. They may be waist-high to other sapients, sporting thick fur and almost comically large ears, but they are forever seeking to demonstrate their proficiency; whether through stories, myriad illusions, or even battle.
We are so proud to show the miniatures for our starting classes - here is the Shadow Piercer! In Rove, all players will have a miniature to represent their character on the map, plus some surprises!
EDIT: lancement du KS finalement repoussé à plus tard…
