We’re writing to you regarding the damaged expansions and Bloody Business boxes.
Being completely transparent, this topic is being a real challenge on many levels, both on a logistical level (getting empty boxes from China to EU without damages, something our shipping partner tells us has a significant risk of getting damaged boxes) and on production level. The amount of empty boxes we need to produce is very small, which makes it difficult to negotiate with our manufacturer. Every different type of box has a setup cost that would make the production extremely expensive, especially considering that we would need to produce only a handful for 20 different boxes (5 boxes x 4 languages). This is added to a very busy calendar from our manufacturer, who plans their production with many many months in advance and usually with a minimum of produced items that we simply do not reach. We are still in talks with the factory, but at this point it is not a viable option. To put things into perspective, it would easily cost us over 100€ producing EACH empty box, considering shipping, project setup costs machine calibrating.
At this point, we can offer you two solutions to this issue:
We have a few empty Scarface 1920 core boxes in stock and could send you one while supplies last, but please keep in mind that these boxes might be in English instead of your preferred language due to availability of Spanish, French and German boxes.
Alternatively, we can offer you a 30€ voucher for any current or future Redzen Games projects instead. Please let us know what you think.
