Si mais d’après leur Newsletter le jeu de carte et le jeu de dés vont avoir ± le même public, ils veulent donc pas sortir les deux en même temps…
Voici toute la newsletter (en anglais du coup) :
2021 will be our largest release year yet, with 5-7 new titles being released. 2 of them have already had their Kickstarters (Terraforming Mars: Big Box, and Starscrappers: Orbital), but we have several more titles waiting for you this year. First up is the announcement for Terraforming Mars: Ares Expedition, which is not an expansion, but a stand-alone card game variant of Terraforming Mars. I can already hear the questions:
Huh? Card game? Isn’t Terraforming Mars already a card game? The original game is a card-driven board game, with many more components than just cards. This new game scales down the mechanics of the original game to present a fast-paced, card-oriented, smaller experience with gorgeous artwork and still a lower price tag. There will be more components than cards, but not many more.
Huh? Card game? What happened to the Dice Game? Since the target audiences for these two games overlap significantly, we don’t want to release both at the same time. Therefore, Dice Game will have to wait a little longer. We’ll keep polishing it and making it the best it can be before hitting you with another brilliant game
