Perso, pris l adventurer set.
Salut All-in pour moi.
Idem (sauf rpg)
Bonjour,
Update
Sculpting Process - Logiwurm
CMONCreator
June 26, 2020
Let us fill another page in our chronicle.
We hope that this update find you all safe and healthy.
Today, we would like to take you to an adventure to the past, where we visit the amazing work of Juan Navarro, while sculpting one of the most striking miniatures that are part of the vast Trudvang cast, the fearful Logiwurm.
Logiwurm, as many other sculpts we have in the game, was traditionally sculpted. Everything started, as they usually do, with the artwork, scale and pose ideas, and a shape…
Determining Logiwurm’s shape and size, comparing it to Felerion’s sculpt
The wireframe forms the creature skeleton, in which the sculpt will be built around. Once we were all happy with size and pose, Juan could move forward, starting to shape up the magnificent beast…
Although missing wings, and most details, we could already start to see the Iron Dragon coming to life
Holes for the back spines
Dragon skin details
Next, came the details. His face, legs and paws, spikes, and the wings!
Starting just like the sculpt, first, we have a shape to later determine the details…
Top view
And then we finally reached the last stage. With the creature completely sculpted, we analyze for the last time any details and adjustments pending, and provide final approval of the sculpt.
After that, a master resin of the sculpt was created, and send out to the factory to be molded.
Logiwurm’s resin
And that is all for today. We hope you liked sneak peaking behind the sculpting process!
The legend goes on.
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/cmon/trudvang-legends/posts/2890131
Salut
Let us fill another page in our chronicle.
We hope you’re staying safe and healthy.
On the last update (update #88) we shared a little bit of the 3D sculpting process for Jarnwurm, and on the update before that (update #87) we did the same for Logiwurm, which was traditionally sculpted. Today’s update differs a little in subject, but does have a common thing with the previous one: a mighty beast!
A while ago we received the final plastic of the Thorn Beast, and we’re happy to report that it’s looking amazing!
Thorn Beast plastic sampleYou’ll notice that Thorny’s color is unique in the game. Since the temperamental giant pet can act in the game as a friendly tamed creature, but change behavior in a heart-beat and become a feral creature again if Heroes fail to keep the insatiable need for thornroot in check, we decided that it was proper to have its own unique color.
Mell is ready for her ride Fly, Thorny, Fly!And that’s all for today’s update. Thorny was part of the last batch of plastics needing approval. There were some minor tweaks done, but in the next weeks all plastic samples should be approved.
The legend goes on.
Salut,

Since our previous 2 updates on sculpting process (update #87 and #88) were such successes and many requests came in for us to continue to post more on the matter, today, we’re going to share a few pictures of the original traditionally sculpted miniatures made be the amazingly talented Juan Navarro.
Unfortunately, unlike Logiwurm’s update, we don’t have the in progress pictures to take you through each step of the process, however, they’re still very interesting to check out.
Dorvid sculpt. The wire holds the flute in place, preventing it from bending, until a resin copy can be created.
Yhtantoor in all his glory!
The King Troll.
Tursir Ox.
Gray Troll.
Waldkarl.
Mordhan.
An impressive fact that may be easy to miss, is that these sculpts are already sculpted from the beginning in their original size, just about 6% bigger, to account the shrinkage experienced by the molding process of turning these into resins, and than plastic. That means that regular miniatures on the line, such as Mordhan above, are as big as thumb (or even smaller) and their faces smaller than a pinky’s fingernail!
Agnarbork compared to a human hand.
This is all for today! Let us know if you enjoyed another peak behind the curtains!
The legend goes on.
