Last Expansion Reveal and new Miracle Reward!

Mise à jour #27|100%xauto

Who will dare to challenge the Archbishop?

Hello, Penitents

This glorious Gamefound campaign to bring Blasphemous: The Board Game to life is heading towards its epic finale! The last few days are usually the most heated and we’re about to bring out the big guns for a final bang!

We start today with the reveal of the latest expansion on our list, which, as fans of the video game will have already guessed, will feature the gigantic Archibishop Melquíades, in all his skeletal majesty!

Let’s not waste any more time and get straight to learning about this new expansion in detail!

The Exhumed Archbishop

« I have witnessed the exhumation of the Archbishop. I have witnessed how they cleansed his bones in wine to then dress him in silk and gold. I saw them place the most beautiful jewels on his face and kiss his forehead. I watched as they placed rings on his fingers and kissed his hands. They lifted him up, calling his name, and swayed him to make it look as if he was walking again. »

When his body was unearthed, there was no mourning, only celebration. His bones were immersed in sacred wine, adorned with silk and gold, his hands bejeweled, his face covered with the most precious stones. Not a corpse to be mourned, rather an icon to be venerated, a symbol that faith refused to allow to fade away.

Her remains were raised up, made to walk again, his name repeated like an obsessive liturgy. Yet idolatry breeds monsters, and in the heart of the Mother of Mothers, Melquíades is no longer a man, nor a simple relic. He is a blasphemous simulacrum, dragged along by devout arms that raise him in an unnatural procession, lacking will, but not the power that faith has imprinted in him.

Now, his fanatics are stirring throughout Cvstodia, chanting frenzied hymns and delirious acclamations. The Penitents will have to put an end to these sacrilegious ovations and return the Archbishop’s remains to the rest he deserves. But their path will be strewn with pitfalls.

Their search will inevitably bring them to cross paths with Melquíades’ procession, and when this happens, they won’t just face his followers… they will have to fight the awakened body of the Archbishop himself.

  • Crowds praising Melquíades’ blasphemous receptacle will appear all over Cvstodia, and only the Penitents will be able to stop them.
  • One of the crowds will be carrying Melquíades; if a Penitent finds themselves in his presence, they will have to face him in a restricted Arena where the terrifying being will strike with two Combat Cards at a time!
  • Unlocking the secrets of the Archbishop by gaining Whispers from Pilgrimage Cards will allow a Penitent to gain the knowledge to defeat this fearsome and gigantic enemy.

This new expansion therefore adds the gigantic miniature of the Archbishop, whose size will give life to a boss fight that’s really different from the others, in a competitive pilgrimage of very high difficulty! The Archbishop is already present in the Cvstodia and Miracle rewards (spoiler!) and is now also available as a single add-on in the Add-ons section of the campaign!

Summa Blasphemia: the statue of t****he Penitent One!

With the latest expansion also comes the latest cosmetic add-on, and for the occasion we’ve come up with something different that will drive all fans of the video game who love collecting statues crazy.

It’s an impressive 18 cm tall statue of the Penitent One!

The statue shows a tired and desperate Penitent One and with its very high emotional impact and its masterful realization it will truly be a masterpiece to embellish your blasphemous collection!

The statue will be made of hard PVC and embellished with a washed effect that will enhance the details, without precluding those who love to paint figurines from painting it to their liking!

We are really proud to be able to offer you such a refined product, and to be able to offer it to you with a new and gigantic Reward, available from today. Let’s find out what it is!

Miracle Reward

From now on, a third reward is available, in addition to the already available Penance and Cvstodia!

The Miracle Reward includes all the material already included in the Cvstodia Reward (Core Box, Stretch Goal Box and 6 Expansions) and all the cosmetic Add-ons we have released:

  • 1x Dice Cup

  • 1x Playmat
  • 1x Summa Blasphemia (just released)

The Miracle Reward is dedicated to those who don’t want to miss out on anything from Blasphemous: The Board Game with the best deal!
