Bon, ben, c’est annulé… faut dire que cela ne décollait pas.
On verra pour la suite.
Thank you everyone for your support. It really means a lot to us as we’re a small team working hard every second we’re awake to try and make this happen. With the experience we’ve had over the last 8 years of crowdfunding board games, we can see that this campaign will be a struggle to get funded. So we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel and relaunch at a later date.
We’ve taken all your feedback so far and will do our best to implement it. But if you have any thoughts or ideas, whether it’s about the game or the campaign itself, we are always happy to receive feedback. You can leave a comment on this update so we can easily keep track of it here.
#### Some changes to be made:
Marketing: we realized that we didn’t do as much marketing as we should have pre-launch and at launch. We relied too heavily on the love of Mistwind and hoped it would bring enough backers to fund the campaign on day 1. Lesson learned, don’t skip marketing. We are in talks with marketing teams we worked with on Mistwind to help us prepare better for the relaunch.
Visuals: we’ve had many of you emphasize the look over the game. We will work on that to make it pop more.
Solo mode: we didn’t realize how important it was to have this ready for launch. We’ll make sure to have the rules added to the rulebook, along with videos and how to plays.
Tabletop Simulator: we will have this ready to go for the relaunch. This way, you can try it out and help us with one of the social goals of designing a building tile.
We haven’t decided on a relaunch date yet, we’re hoping to do it within 3-4 weeks but we will also see what the marketing team says is best and go from there. We will provide and update for all of you when we have the new Kickstarter page ready to go so you can make sure to get notified for when we go live again.
We appreciate every single one of you for taking the time to pledge your support. We hope to see you again on Day 1 of the relaunch. Statistically, Kickstarters that fund on Day 1 usually succeed way beyond their funding goal. That way we can unlock as many stretch goals as we can to make this the best game it can be.
Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts. See you soon!
