Un résumé, en anglais, de la situation de Petersen Games et donc de nos jeux en attente !
Summary for those of us who prefer to read text than sit through a video:
-
our projects have progressed slowly
-
thanks for your patience
-
Petersen Games has reorganised, down to a skeleton crew
-
factory lockdowns, shortages, costs and inflation have hit us hard
-
time is money; the longer it takes to get a product to market, the more these challenges compromise our position
-
PG will now focus on one product at a time to ensure every campaign is delivered
-
First up: Cthulhu Wars Final Onslaught, now in final assembly - factory says ready to ship shortly. This includes Cataclysm, Daemon Sultan, German CW products, plus associated expansions
-
then onto next product - end goal is to fulfill all obligations
-
smaller team takes time, asking for more patience, but all projects are in production/preproduction which is not affected by staffing
-
How we got here: 2019 was our best year ever, then 2020 China factory lockdowns and other setbacks (partners out of business, figure molds stolen).
-
Smaller products were released at a profit which went to helping fulfill kickstarters.
-
Cash supply shrank over time - Sandy put most of his private funds into project
-
Were forced to let most of the team go - not the team’s fault
-
Sandy is also upset by the delay
-
« I am confident that we will fulfill all our promises to our supporters »
-
will update unfulfilled campaigns regularly
