Don't Starve - par Glass Cannon Unplugged - livraison mars 2027

Acrylique for the win

Say, pal… Are you surprised?

Progress in science is all about experimentation, and we’re all gentlemen scientists here. With Kickstarter launching a new update function for campaigns that are yet to go live, we’ve decided to put it to the test. And so here we are, with a novel fashion of bringing you the freshest developments on Don’t Starve: The Board Game. And whether you’re a Survivalist, Survivor, or simply Scavenger - it’s most gratifying to have you with us!

In case you’ve missed what all this sweet kerfuffle is about, here’s the lowdown: Don’t Starve is about to happen on your tabletop! You might have seen us proudly announce it some time back, followed by a stretch of silence that may have led some of you to suspect that it was nothing more than sleight of hand. Well, it wasn’t!

What’s Don’t Starve?

Don’t Starve: The Board Game is a 1–4 player cooperative roguelike survival game based on the classic video game series by the magiciens extraordinaires at Klei Entertainment. It lets you explore a fantastical world full of quirky creatures, face (or fall foul of) constant peril, and battle the elements for the reward of snatching yet another day from the clutches of oblivion.

Through the eyes of a world-beloved cast of Survivors - Wilson, Willow, Wendy, and Webber - you’ll be crafting the tools to live off the land and the weapons to fend off its nasty inhabitants, and you will die. A lot. And then some.

Why Follow a Preview Page?

The Kickstarter campaign is set to launch in September. That said, by following now, you can scoop up a unique mini-expansion - Constant Curiosities - which brings an abundance of content to the board game, designed especially for our followers - and for FREE! Gadzooks!

Be sure to drop by our blog to catch up on everything we’ve shared since revealing the preview page on Kickstarter.

From the Table Onto the Screen

Yes indeed, you read that right - while Don’t Starve: The Board Game grants you the world’s first opportunity to have your favorite band of video game Survivors braving starvation on the tabletop, why should the current not flow in both directions, eh?

That’s why the amazing people at Klei have prepared a special treat to celebrate the campaign for Don’t Starve: The Board Game in the form of unique digital curios that you will be able to redeem and use in Don’t Starve Together!

The first of these is dedicated to you - the follower crowd - as part of the free follower gift, the Constant Curiosities mini-expansion. Read on for more info - unless you haven’t joined us at the camp yet, in which case head on over to the preview page before you do!

Beauty is More than Skin Deep

If you recall, the second Curio unlocked as part of the Constant Curiosities mini-expansion was the Pick/Axe item. Today’s unlock allows you to proudly show all your online friends your support for Don’t Starve hitting the tabletops, with a new Pick/Axe skin in smashing GCU colors!

This is just a taste of things to come - expect more digital curios as the campaign kicks off!

The Bird’s the Word

Meet the Magnus Avis, a.k.a. Tallbird. Not a great flyer, it makes up for its rather puny wings with spindly legs and a single, unnerving eye. They’re known to lay their eggs in the rockiest places around, and since they’ve inhabited the world of Don’t Starve for a long time, they’ve seen a lot.

The Tallbird might look cute, but If you ever find yourself pecked at by its pointy beak, make sure you fight back! Also remember that it can be less feisty at nighttime.

What’s App With That?

Just a quick note: if you wish to see the preview page for the board game in all its glory, make sure to visit it using your favorite phone, PC, or science machine browser. Using the official Kickstarter application will most likely only display the banner for the project, which looks nice - true - but that’s not what you’re here for, right?

This past week, Don’t Starve: The Board Game has surpassed the 47,000-follower mark. This means that over 47,000 daredevils are set to enrich their survival experience with the Constant Curiosities mini-expansion follower gift. Join them now and help pave the way for even more amazing curios! Dö it!
