Commentaire lu sur KS qui résume bien la situation vis à vis de BLG
QML, the fulfillment company that has this product (FS1) in its warehouse, has responded to a number of direct backer inquiries on Twitter saying that BLG hasn’t paid their shipping bill for this project yet.
Back of the envelope math on what BLG owes QML puts it well into the six figure mark. Perhaps more, when you consider QML likely spotted BLG shipping out of China and the compounding storage fees.
It’s also not apparent that BLG has any active employees or streams of revenue at this point.
There is evidence of some pre-sales and potentially some deals happening with IP’s like Megaman and Naruto that seem to have kept the company afloat up until now, but nothing has materialized out of those projects.
They’re also no longer allowed to run Kickstarters and it looks like Indiegogo has also shut them down. They may be trying to get a campaign spun up on Gamefound, but I haven’t seen anything over there. Most disturbing of all, they don’t have a single tangible product you can buy on their webstore. It’s all just pre-orders. Again, they do not appear to have any active revenue streams.
The Sadlers have both left the company on pretty negative terms. There’s a lot of comments from them circulating here and on Reddit. I don’t particularly believe them to be innocent patsies in this whole thing, but they claim they were just Game Designers and have no knowledge of upper management or the finances of the company.
One of them conjectured that Alex Lim, the person who is running BLG, was taking money from one crowdfunding campaign to cover a previous campaign’s costs. Functionally, that’s a Ponzi scheme, but we have no direct evidence. If that’s true, the fact that they’re no longer able to make new crowdfunding campaigns would put their cashflow problems into perspective.
There’s a goddamn mountain of evidence that Alex Lim is a fraudulent, toxic asset in the crowdsourced board gaming world. You can spend a few minutes googling his previous company Artistic Justice Games and their failed Kickstarters to get an understanding of what to expect for this campaign. I’m sure other people have links for this.
In short, I suspect this and all of BLG’s projects are doomed. Some backers are speculating that something might happen with BLG being slated to go to GenCon next month, but I highly doubt that they’ll make enough sales to get our project out of the massive hock that it’s in.

Bref, je doute que l’on voit un jour la version imprimée de Lasting Tales, les figurines FS2 et les autres produits de BLG
