Update #23 - Development update #1 / Take part in blind tests! / Merry Xmas!
Well met, Travelers!
Merry Christmas to all the Arthurian legend geeks out there! May your holiday season be filled with tales of knights, dragons, and mythical creatures. May you find time to relax and enjoy the company of loved ones, even in the midst of epic quests and battles. Happy holidays!
Besides the holiday wishes, we have two more things we would like to share with you during this month’s update!
First, let’s start with the second batch of miniature renders prepared by our 3d sculptors!
Just a quick reminder like last month - everything you will see below is 3d renders that may vary from the « printed samples » that will arrive at our office at a later date! In 2023 you can surely expect us to share the first physical samples once we have them! But in the meantime, for the last time in 2022, take a look at what we have prepared
Secondly, the game development is proceeding very smoothly! Krzysztof Piskorski and his team are constantly working on new Kings of Ruin chapters and creating immersive, impressive, and highly engaging stories! And when we say « very smoothly, » we really mean it!
To prove our words, we are happy to announce that we are looking for brave testers interested in blind testing our new prototype that will contain 5 chapters of the Kings of Ruin story!
So, if you:
are fluent in English,
have enough time (approx. 2-3 weeks) around the end of January to play test 5 chapters (each 3-4 hours long),
will be able to provide our Dev Team with constant feedback during your playthrough,
then we are looking for you!
If you want to apply, email us at feedback[at]awakenrealms.com and write a few words about you and your group. Especially please include your place of residence, the number of players, whether you are native English speakers, whether you have played the first Tainted Grail, and if you have participated in any board game tests before. All other useful information will also be helpful
Please notice that we will get in touch and cooperate only with a few chosen groups that will receive the prototype from us!
Also, please be aware that the prototype we will offer for playtesting will have a different production level than the prototype created for the crowdfunding campaign. Every component will be Work In Progress, and you can be sure this one will be far away from the final version in terms of quality
