Greetings Heroes!

Today we are excited to officially confirm the development of the third Teburu title: Teburu Dungeon: Sword and Sorcery!

While our first game, The Bad Karmas, was based on an original IP, and Vampire: The Masquerade - Milan Uprising is a unique game approach to an established universe; with Teburu Dungeon: Sword and Sorcery, we will be adapting an existing board game to the system and show how it can be enhanced to its full potential on Teburu!

With one of the most sophisticated monster & combat management systems in its category, Sword and Sorcery has received great appreciation from the most experienced players, and Sword & Sorcery’s game design is a great starting point to create a rich and deep Teburu experience, but more streamlined and easy to play thanks to the new Teburu Dungeon system!

Since the first announcement, many of our backers have been asking for more details on the ways Teburu will handle Sword and Sorcery’s rules and game mechanics. Development of Teburu Dungeon: Sword and Sorcery is still in its early stages, but fans can expect the AI management systems and book-keeping functions that are core to existing Teburu games to once again be reflected in ways specific to Sword and Sorcery.

Backers that already own Sword and Sorcery will even be able to re-use many of their existing miniatures thanks to a conversion kit that will be available during the crowdfunding campaign. By upgrading their existing components to smart minis and adding new Teburu compatible tiles and D10 Smart Dice, players can leverage the advantages of the Teburu system while breathing new life into their collection, rather than having to buy duplicate components.

Teburu Dungeon: Sword and Sorcery is currently expected to launch its crowdfunding campaign in 2025, so make sure to join the Teburu Newsletter to stay up to date on the latest news!

Previous backers of TBK and VTM will even be able to test out Teburu Dungeon: Sword and Sorcery for themselves prior to the campaign with the official Print and Play Prototype!

Just as we released a Print and Play for the Ithaqua Scenario for The Bad Karmas and the Curse of Cthulhu, any backer with a Teburu System will also be able to access the Print and Play Prototype for Teburu Dungeon: Sword and Sorcery prior to backing the crowdfunding campaign in 2025!

The prototype will still be available after TBK Curse of Cthulhu fulfillment so that all backers will be able to enjoy it and our other Teburu titles while awaiting delivery of the final game!

Update #1 - Welcome to Teburu Dungeon: Sword & Sorcery

Update #1|100%xauto

The first pre-campaign update for Teburu Dungeon: Sword & Sorcery!

Hello!

We are so excited to welcome you all to a very exciting project- Teburu Dungeon: Sword & Sorcery!

With this being our first pre-campaign update, we’ll be going over what you might be able to expect from this campaign, as well as the reveal of our Follower Gift, so let’s get started!

Project Overview

With one of the most sophisticated monster & combat management systems in its category, Sword & Sorcery has received great appreciation from the most experienced players, and Sword & Sorcery’s game design is a great starting point to create a rich and deep Teburu experience, but more streamlined and easy to play thanks to the new Teburu Dungeon system!

Development of Teburu Dungeon: Sword and Sorcery is still in its early stages, but fans can expect the same complex enemy behavior and book-keeping functions that are core to existing Teburu games to once again be reflected in ways specific to Sword & Sorcery.

We initially launched the Campaign Preview as part of Gamefound’s Winter Feast, which featured over 13 new and upcoming crowdfunding campaigns to expect in 2025. The Feast also included interviews with the designers and developers of these projects, so if you want to get a little more information, check out their interview with our own Federico Valle! TD: S&S begins at the 5:30 mark!

Although Teburu Dungeon: Sword & Sorcery is based on the setting of Sword & Sorcery: Immortal Souls, this version will feature an all-new, original story campaign within the same world. Various existing expansions may even be integrated, but these expansions are still being evaluated at this time.

Backers that already own Sword & Sorcery: Immortal Souls will even be able to re-use many of their existing miniatures thanks to a conversion kit that will be available during the crowdfunding campaign. This conversion kit will come at a reduced price point, allowing S&S owners to upgrade their existing components to smart minis, as well as providing new Teburu-compatible tiles and D10 Smart Dice. This kit will allow players to leverage the advantages of the Teburu system while breathing new life into their existing collection, rather than having to buy duplicate components.

Of course, we wouldn’t be able to take advantage of Teburu’s features without the system itself! Any backers new to Teburu will have the opportunity to bundle the Teburu System with their TD: Sword & Sorcery Pledge, whether purchasing the full game or just the conversion kit. Additionally, previous Teburu backers already have the system, and would therefore be able to pledge only for the Game or Conversion kit.

Teburu Dungeon: Sword and Sorcery is expected to launch its crowdfunding campaign in the second half of 2025, so follow the campaign preview now to stay up-to-date on the latest news and to lock in your Follower Gift!

New Follower Gift

We’re also excited to reveal the official Follower Gift for TD: Sword and Sorcery… The Exarch.

The Heroes have the opportunity to meet the mysterious Exarch early in their adventure, and if they manage to persuade him, the Exarch might be convinced to pledge his assistance to the Heroes, who can then summon him when the situation is dire.

This miniature is not required to play Teburu Dungeon: Sword and Sorcery, and is an aestethic upgrade to the standard token included in the base game. This item is free to all backers who followed the campaign before its launch and will be automatically added to their cart with the purchase of a Core Pledge or higher.
