Hey everyone!
I’m looking for some play-test feedback if anyone has the time/interest?
I have been working on a Skill Tree/Level-up & experience add-on for base Marvel United. See attached rules & example hero. You can find more heroes and HQ files here;

I have made skill trees for the base set heroes & have full intentions to do the entire cast.
I have been using these alongside some of the awesome campaigns the community has made (found on BGG etc). But it can also just be used as you play through random games.
I’ve found it fun so far and have been making minor tweaks as I go but it will definitely benefit from a wider audience with different playstyles.
Main things I’d like feedback on are;

  • EXP cost of abilities
  • EXP gain (too much, not enough?)
  • Abilities feeling overpowered/underpowered
  • Any confusion on ability text or rules
  • How many games it takes to be fully levelled
  • The villain health mechanic (Too much? Too Little? Any Villains that are impossible to beat now with extra health?) (For Sandman btw, you just add the health he gained at the start to his win condition also)

I won’t be adjusting the layout anymore, that’s been through many iterations already (with help from the great crew over on the discord).
The final ability for each hero is meant to feel quite overpowered. I want it to feel like you have a super strong hero after putting the work in, so keep that in mind.
Feel free to print the HQ files from the google drive or bring the pngs into TTS.
