Résumé
I’m a first edition VtM:C and Werewolf backer, but I see so many red flags with the Werewolf campaign and the new Vampire KS campaign that I don´t know where to start.
-Flyos launched the Werewolf KS before delivering VtM:C. My main bet is that they didn´t have enough money for Vampire’s manufacturing and they used that money to pay to the factory. Also, they charged the extra shipping (which I paid from the beginning).
-Flyos tried to charge for shipping for Werewolf just before Christmas, even though the game wasn´t even finished. It was delayed after a lot of complaints, but that looks like they needed money urgently. All of this makes me more worried about their current financial status.
-Flyos hasn’t confirmed yet the new timeline for Werewolf. It was supposed to be finished in March 2024, but the design is not even finished. The new Vampire is supposed to be delivered at the end of the year, which overlaps with both design and production of Werewolf. It doesn´t make sense that they are going to both finish and deliver two campaigns at the same time, one of them has to be delayed.
-Now that it looks like they don´t have enough money for manufacturing Werewolf, they have launched this new Vampire campaign.
-Flyos keeps telling that the errata are not such a big deal, when most of the chapters have plenty of them. They haven’t confirmed yet what books are included in the upgrade pack, but just seeing the official errata on their website you can see it’s practically all of them. At the beginning I didn´t complain about it, but after reaching chapter 10, there were many broken scenarios. The lack of playtesting is worrying.
-Flyos is removing all negative comments on Facebook and trying to do so on KS.
-There are a lot of newly created BGG accounts with just reviews of 10´s to Flyos’ games. There is a new post from a new user today that looks like propaganda and advertisement for the new KS campaign.
-The errata stickers were going to be managed in the Werewolf PM (I reckon to try to get some people to back it). Then, it was going to be send to « some stores » so people could collect them. After many months, they changed their minds and now Flyos is using a google form to manage it. This is also worrying, they already have a list of backers and could send the errata to all of them, instead of asking us to fill a form. Same for the dice.
Don´t get me wrong, I really like Vampire the Masquerade and I’ve enjoyed playing the game, but there was a point where there were so many erratas that we couldn´t even keep playing. I was one of the first people to receive it and « playtest » it, but after chapter 10 I was tired of submitting erratas after every chapter.
Flyos is acting in a way I don’t like, from censorship to avoiding answering questions and just telling to people to wait for the next update.
My main conclusion is that they don´t have enough money to manufacture and deliver Werewolf, and they need this new KS campaign. It’s doing poorly, just 100 backers for the digital edition and another 180 for the Deluxe and All-in (I wouldn´t be surprised if it is cancelled for lack of funds), so I don´t think they are going to produce neither of these games. Now, I don´t think I’ll ever receive Werewolf and I haven´t even considered backing this new Vampire campaign. I also doubt any of us are going to receive the « free » errata stickers.

Reposting this since you deleted it before by reporting it to KS (Note: this comment does NOT go against any KS terms of service, this is just opinion on how this campaign is going, the fact the creator requested it to be deleted before doesn’t look good):
Yeah, there’s a definite lack of attention to the vast majority of backers who come from the prior project, who also cover the vast majority of the funding here. The project wouldn’t even be close to half funded if it was only the new backers, it’s basically all from returning backers. The cost of the update pack is ridiculously high, as is it’s shipping, and they don’t seem to have any concern about even considering the multitude of things that prior backers want, like access to get the new spiral book alone, the new insert, etc.
If this was my campaign and the numbers were looking as they are now, I’d certainly be highly considering canceling and making some big changes that are in line with what people are looking for.
Again, just opinions on how things are currently, I’m really hoping to see some meaningful changes from the creators regarding this, but if not, that’s 100% their choice, can’t force it.

After reading all of the comments here and doing some soul searching, I’ve finally decided to pledge 1$. I bought the game a few months ago from a guy in a shared boardgame group, he took the Elder pledge. It was all fun and games in the prologues and the first few scenarios, but as soon as errata started pouring in, going back and forth from the game to the rules and back to scenarios that finish in a dead end, our playthrough has stopped, and has been in this state for a few months now. Considering how a lot of comments concur with my initial impression after this new campaign started, I am only willing to give a token of 1$ support and access to pledge manager because I honestly have very little faith you guys will manage to do this within the time table you have given, and considering you still have an ongoing WW campaign that has already made a lot of people unhappy. I’d be more than happy to buy the upgrade pledge so I don’t have to rely on handmade stickers for the errata and the Epilogue expansion as well, but considering how high the prices for shipping and VAT for my country is (Croatia), besides the fact that we are in EU, eurozone and Schengen country, yet we’re put in the same basket as UK, and all the aforementioned reasons, I’m simply too reluctant to invest more in this project. I am however willing to stick around for the pledge manager opening to see how well you perform delivering the finished app version and development of the Epilogue expansion. I certainly hope you reconsider a better approach to many excellent suggestions in the comment section, especially those pertaining to the original backers and the Upgrade pack, those people are to thank for having the game at all. Good luck!
