Une actu fin septembre exclu aux backers qui parlé du reprint et du cadeau au backer, en gros le tout serais livré en mars avril 2026, ça permet de financé la 2e vague. C’est un peu comme avec Dawn of Madness pour le financement de la vague ils font un reprint avec nouvelle extension. Après tant que ça permet la livraison du reste et qu’on ai des cadeaux en plus ça me va
Note on Wave 1 & Wave 2
As mentioned in previous updates, we had to manage fulfillment in two waves:
Wave 1: Base game
Wave 2: All add-ons and stretch goals
This decision was necessary because of the floods that hit us hard both personally and professionally. We lost our entire warehouse, our studio, and sadly even our homes for 9 months. We practically had to start over from scratch, having lost everything we had built over the years.
This is why fulfillment was split into two waves: it allowed us to move forward with production while at the same time working to restore our lives and rebuild everything we lost, at least in terms of structures, since our inventory and equipment were completely destroyed.
Wave 2 is now in production and will be ready by March (for all languages).
We are sharing this note again to make sure it reaches everyone who may not have seen it in previous updates or in the comments.

Preview of the New Expansion
We are excited to give you a first look at the new expansion, which will be available together with the reprint of Darkest Doom.
Before that, we would like to explain why we decided to launch this reprint in the coming months. This step was necessary in order to balance the additional costs of the new U.S. tariffs, which we have fully covered to import Darkest Doom and two other projects that are currently being delivered.
It is very important to us to make it clear that you will never be asked to pay extra costs due to temporary political or logistical issues. We will always cover these expenses ourselves, just as we have done until now, and we will continue to do so in the future if necessary.
Launching the reprint in the coming months will allow us to work with greater stability and peace of mind after two extremely challenging years, while also preparing to face potential extra costs next year if U.S. tariffs remain unchanged.

The main features of this expansion are:
- Each Guardian will have their own corrupted counterpart (here is an example GIF):
- All the new Citadel Supply cards will include two gameplay options: a normal version and a corrupted version.
- The game board will also be new and fully modular, meaning that in every match the playable zones will always be different.
- The most important new feature of this expansion is the semi-cooperative mode. Players will have the chance to form alliances, but this will be expressed in true Darkest Doom style. You can expect a very large miniature capable of carrying up to two players with it.
This new expansion will also include a bonus mini set, offered for free to all backers who choose to join the new campaign.
Now we present the third goal, another unique exclusive just for you: the corrupted version of Mosh.
Just like the standard version, this mini set is one of a kind and will never be available in any other way. It is our special gift to you, just like Mosh: the Shaman.
By Wednesday we will send an email to everyone with a full recap of this update and a link to the pre-launch page of the campaign for those interested in supporting us. Based on your support, we may also be able to add another Limited Exclusive Goal, which we will reveal in future updates depending on the number of pre-saves.
We want to emphasize that the delivery time for this reprint will be 10 to 11 months from the end of the Kickstarter campaign. After all the human support you have shown us during these long and difficult months, we felt it was important to be transparent with you about this timeline.
For any questions, we are always here for you. We also want to express our deepest gratitude for all the affection and support you have shown us after the floods. Losing everything in just five hours was truly traumatic, and finding the clarity to face such a challenge was only possible thanks to your encouragement.
Once again, thank you all for your incredible support. The reason we decided to include these three goals, two of them exclusive to you, is above all to show our gratitude for standing so close to us. It has been an immense help on a very human level.

Bon si on a que la CoreBox c’est pas possible de partir avec des petits bouts de la première campagne.

Ben de ce que je vois, ils luttent, mais vendent pas mal de produits dérivés ou de produits génériques pour les joueurs par ailleurs (qui ne demandent pas de développement).

Du coup j’imagine qu’ils survivent, mais ça reste fragile.
Je pense qu’ils croient en leur jeu, qui n’est pas mauvais et même plutôt chouette. Mais de là à avoir une entreprise viable…

Bon, la proposition de l’extension est intéressante.
Mais je n’ai fait qu’une partie du jeu de base. Il reste encore les SG qui apportent pas mal de chose aussi (les règles sont dispo d’ailleurs sur la page de la campagne de l’extension 
).
Pas envie de remettre un billet de 100, surtout si c’est pour assurer l’arrivée des SG et qu’il y a un risque sur ce que doit normalement payer ces 100 €. Je prendrait d’occasion si jamais j’ai usé le contenu que j’aurais reçu.
Mais encore une fois, pour ceux qui ont déjà pas mal joué au jeu de base, l’extension est une vrai proposition de renouvellement (plateau modulable qui se découvre au fur et à mesure, version corrompue des héros, possibilité de s’allier à un autre joueur via la faerie, nouvelles cartes à foison…)

On dirait presque une V2 dont le plateau remplace celui du premier… Et c’est vrai que ce moyen de financer la première campagne, si c’est bien le cas, via celle-ci me rebute quelque peu.

Le sentiment de devoir financer cette campagne pour espérer recevoir les add-ons non reçus de la première campagne..
Et à plus forte raison je trouve quand on compare les prix entre la nouvelle extension deluxe à 85€ et le all-in deluxe à 210€.
Y aura-t-il un LP?
On peut supposer que oui. Il y en avait un pour la première campagne.

Je pense que s’ils peuvent ils le feront, ou une version retail, mais j’ai peur que leurs finances soient vraiment restreintes.
(Après, là, il s’agit plus de faire rentrer des sous en déclinant un produit que de développer un nouveau système de jeu. Donc, ça devrait le faire…

L’absence d’infos claires sur comment s’articule cette extension me gêne, car on dirait « juste » un nouveau plateau qui remplace l’autre et non un plateau supplémentaire…
Ah mais on est d’accord, tu choisis le plateau avec lequel joué au début.

Et sans les règles, aucune idées de ce qui n’est pas spécifique au nouveau plateau et pourrait être ajouter au jeu de base.
Je pense néanmoins qu’il y a des chances qu’au moins héros et certaines cartes puissent l’être, tout comme les alliances éphémère avec les faeries et les versions corrompues des héros

Hello Guardians,
As we’ve already shared with some of you via email or KS messages, we are working on a set of exclusive goals reserved only for returning backers in this short reprint campaign.
Launching it now was essential in order to ensure the delivery of the new expansion currently live on Kickstarter within next year , and to allow us to focus on new projects once Tainted is shipped .
As many of you know, the two floods we suffered caused immense difficulties and it was truly traumatic and stressful to handle Darkest Doom with two separate waves — but it was necessary for us to keep going and try to return to normal life, after losing so much of what we had built.
We are hugely grateful for your support , and today we can officially confirm (as some of you already heard from us) that in the current campaign, all returning backers will receive a special gift ,
The character is Aion :
In January , we expect to have the final render ready.
To unlock it as an Exclusive Extra Goal , we need to reach a minimum number of supporting backers , we currently need 100 more to achieve that milestone.
If we are unable to reach the goal, the miniature will still be available as an add-on , but only at production cost . This means we will not earn any profit from it, but it is important for us to make it accessible to all returning backers**.**
Beyond that, we can also confirm the upgrade of the illustrated protective sleeves (here’s a preview).
There will also be an exclusive deck organizer , specifically designed for gameplay sessions , so that all components can be kept together in a single, practical area. We’re currently testing it, and we expect to present it by early December.
All of this is our way of thanking you for standing by us through all the challenges we’ve faced, your support has truly made the difference.
