Q18 - Is Tides of Ruin an extension of the core campaign or a separate campaign?
It expands the game world, so you play with it right from the beginning. (It isn’t a separate campaign.)
Q19 - What does Tides of Ruin adds to the campaign mode?
Tides of Ruin’s purpose is to make the game world bigger. You gain 5 new maps to explore and another book filled with stories, along with extra adventure cards, quest cards, enemy cards, and events. You can use it right from the beginning.
Q20 - How hard is the game and does it have difficulty levels?
The game has a normal mode and an easy mode. Normal mode can be pretty challenging. Few groups win the campaign on their first try.
Q21 - Is there an overarching story?
Yes, there’s an overarching story that unfolds. Everything in the game world is somewhat thematically linked, so you uncover different parts of the big story with each campaign.
Q22 - Replayability: is there going to be some kind of scoring or achievement/trophy system?
Yes, but you only need 8 totems to win, and over 30 are hidden in the base game + expansion, so the goal is to find different ones if you start a new campaign. You mark all of the totems that you find on an achievement sheet which unlocks new cards you can use in subsequent campaigns.

There is no final MSRP yet, but it will be higher than the pledge level amounts here.
